Consider what specifics you need as well as your wording. There are a variety of invitation designs available that suit all tastes and budgets, from the traditional and formal script engraved silver or gold on a plain card, to the more modern, informal in... There are usually a range of designs to choose from at various printers and stationers, alternatively you may want to have something specifically designed for you by a layout artist specialising in these kinds of invitations.

Remember to consider the printing of the order of service sheets which detail the order of each element of a church service.

This should include the processional music, the Minister's address, prayers and responses, the hymns (including the verses), the marriage service and the music for the signing of the register.

Invitations always go out from the hosts.

However, wording can become more complicated if your parents are divorced or if the bridal couple are hosting the wedding themselves. We consulted with invitation specialists to bring you a few unique ideas for your wedding stationery and to set out some examples of the wording you may need.
